Previously Union Public Service Commission has released a notification for the recruitment of candidate for 1009 vacancies of Assistant Divisional Medical Officer, Assistant Medical Officer, Junior Scale Posts, General Duty Medical Officer Grade II and General Duty Medical Officer. Candidates who were interested in this recruitment drive have register for this examination.

UPSC CMS 2016 Result Date
Interview of candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test will be scheduled. The exact date of interview will, however, be intimated to the candidates through Interview Letter/e‐mail. No request for change in the date and time of the Personality Test intimated to the candidates will be entertained under any circumstances.
Written examination for Combined Medical Services (CMS) is divided into 2 papers, each paper carrying maximum of 250 marks. The examination was computer based test which include Multiple Choice Question. Each paper was of two hours duration. There were 120 questions in Paper 1 and 100 questions in Paper 2 both carry 250 marks each. Paper-I includes question from General Ability, General Medicine, Paediatrics while Paper-II is carried out on Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Preventive & Social Medicine. Negative marking of ¼ marks will be applicable for each wrong answer.

The “Combined Medical Services” Examination or the CMS Exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment as Medical Officer in various organizations such as the Indian Ordnance Factories, Indian Railways functioning under the Government of India. UPSC CMS Cut off Marks 2016
Selection Process for UPSC CMS is based on Written Examination and Interview/ Personality Test. Written test consist of two papers. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for interview/ personality test to be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The interview/ personality test will carry 100 marks. The marks obtained in the personality added with the written test marks will be used for the preparation of Merit List. The final appointment and training will be endowed to those candidates whose names appear in the final UPSC CMS Merit List 2016.
