SSC Stenographer Skill Test Details
Candidates who score at least cut off marks in written examination will qualify for skill test. Selected candidates have to appear for Skill test. In the skill test the candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/Hindi at the Speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.

SSC Stenographer Merit List 2016
Staff Selection Commission is an Indian organization to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. It was set up on 1 July 1976 to make recruitment on zonal basis for non-technical Group C posts under the Central Government, except the post for which recruitment was made by Railway Service Commission and the industrial establishments.
The functions of the Staff Selection Commission have been enlarged from time to time and now it carries out the recruitment for Group B posts also under the Central Government. The Commission has been provided with a Regional set up in order to ensure smooth conduct of its recruitment examinations through a large network of examination centers situated in different parts of the country for the convenience of the candidate. The examinations are held as far as possible at different centers and successful candidates posted, to the extent possible, to their state/region. The interviews conducted by the Commission are structured in such a manner that they are effectively uniform and objective, keeping in view the diverse backgrounds of the candidates.
